SUPRALEX
Phosphate and its preventive role in fungal diseases:
Phosphate is a derivative of phosphorus acid, an active, fast-moving ion in the plant
Systematic and Stability: There are no enzymes that have the ability to oxidize Phosphite and convert it to Phosphate.
Phosphate works on the prevention of fungal diseases through two parallel directions
Indirect Mechanism:
Phosphate stimulates plant cells to synthesize phytoalexins, which attack fungi and resist them as a plant immune response, as well as the synthesis of polysaccharides, which support the cell wall and immune system of the plant.
Direct Effect:
Phosphate prevents the breathing of fungus cells by inhibiting phosphorylation oxidation within the energy cycle within the fungus cells – thereby breaking the fungus cycle and death.
