Oligo Iron –EDTA 13 %
The role of iron in plants:
-Iron is an essential nutrient for the formation of chlorophyll but does not enter in the structure of the chlorophyll molecule. Iron plays an important role in the formation of enzymes responsible for chlorophyll.
– It also enters the structure of many enzymes necessary in the process of breathing, such as peroxidase. Oxidase, cytochrome and iron ingestion of Heme, the necessary dye in the final stages of breathing
– Itenters in interactions responsible for cell division and growth. It also enters nitrate and sulfate reduction processes.
Symptoms of iron deficiency:
The critical concentration of the iron in the leaves is 50 ppm. When it is reduced, the plants show the following symptoms:
1 – Yellowing between the veins or in general, it appears first on the newleaves because it is very slow nutrient.
2 – The leaves turn to white color when the shortage increases.
3. Chlorophyll may be completely absent in very small leaves leaving the leaves white.
Chemical composition
iron 13% chelated on EDTA (Ethylene-diamine-tetra acetic acid)
